The Team Leader wears two hats: one as a property consultant, and another as a manager. the primary role is to lead a secondary team, overseeing activities of junior and senior property consultants and monitoring performance. In the meantime, S/he will continue acting as a property consultant in her/his area. The Team leader defines and communicates the business’s KPIs and targets to junior sales personnel on a regular basis, analyses patterns in consumer and market behavior and conducts weekly meetings/ reviews.
The role of a Team Leader is a stepping stone to the sales manager role that requires commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the consumer base, the competitive market, and an ability to analyze sales department performance. The Team Leader role is an integral part of the business in that it also involves the management of external referral partners and collaborations with numerous internal departments.
Sales team Revenue targets | Sales team must match or exceed Monthly/ quarterly forecasted revenue target provided by Management. |
Qualified Leads | Property consultants are required to achieve a specific number of new listings and generate a certain number of qualified buyer leads from property portal listings per week. The exact numbers will be communicated to qualified candidates during the hiring process. |
Closing % | The sales team is expected to close a specific percentage of the total generated leads per property consultant. |
Team client meetings for a team of Property Consultants | To achieve the desired closing rate, the Sales team must meet a specific target of client meetings per month, with each Property Consultant expected to attend an average number of viewings/meetings. |
