Community manager

Overview

If you have a proven track record managing social media communities and enjoy the creativity, challenge and strategic depth that comes with this role, we are looking for you! You will be setting and implementing social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies, providing engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts and be responding for managing comments and customer queries in a timely manner. This is a remote, full time job.

Job requirements:

  • Set, plan, and implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies
  • Provide engaging text, image and video content for all social media and professional accounts
  • Respond to customers in a timely manner
  • Monitor, track and report on feedback and online reviews
  • Organize and manage online events to boost brand awareness
  • Serve as a point of contact for the company’s social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, forum, and blog
  • Interact with community members and customers in a professional, personable, and timely manner to grow and keep the community alive
  • Serve as a point of contact for the company’s social media platforms

  • Generate comprehensive reports on overall community sentiment and notable trends and provide meaningful feedback
  • Keep up to date to the latest social media trends and emerging social media platforms in the industry
  • Should be experienced in creating and optimizing video and graphical content as per the latest industry and market trends.  

Requirements

  • Graduate or equivalent degree in communications, marketing or similar
  • Minimum 4 years work experience as a community manager or similar
  • Excellent verbal, listening and writing communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills
  • Hands on experience with social media management & interpreting website traffic
